Ways to Say No if Someone Offers a Smoke

A non-smoker is someone who does not regret leaving the habit and sees no reason to start smoking again. Someone who knows that he can enjoy life and handle any problem equal to or better than when smoked.

You have reached a point where you know that you can live without it, but you still have the feeling of having lost something in your life or if circumstances change you could fall. To combat these false beliefs is the ultimate challenge on your way to the release of snuff.

In the following text, we advise on how to tackle some of the most common problems experienced by quitting, especially when someone offers you to smoke.

Not knowing what to do?

The solution is quite simple: find something to do with your hands. For example, writing with a pen or squeezing a stress ball. Thus you will find that the problem will be solved only in a short time.

Quitting does not stop you from doing anything, although there are some things (like socialize with friends smoking) to which you can take some getting used to. For example, there is no reason why you can not accompany your friends smokers when smoking or go on any occasion. If however you think you cannot find how to replace the smoke habit, pay attention to the "tricks" we suggest you later. There is a solution to every problem, it's up to yourself considering alternatives and find the one that best suits you:

1. Remind yourself that you do not need to abandon the activities that you value, but you need to act differently in some circumstances to protect the temptation to smoke.

2. We know how hard it can be to change habits and routines, but keep this many times a small change can make a big difference.

3. When faced with situations of "high risk", get into them with a clear plan and positive attitude, do not apologize for your new life.

5. It is also important to plan your activities. Divide your tasks and set yourself short term goals and smaller than usual. If at any time you still have to fight, while someone changes a task that does not require a lot of dedication.

Over time, you had organized much of your life around smoking, both in relation to actions involving as the introduction of nicotine in your blood. Learning to concentrate without it may take some time and require the active creation of new ways of organizing your life. Start now!
